ABOUT
'Embracing the ten thousand things' EP is Farbeak's debut release. It contains five instrumental tracks, featuring an eclectic blend of new wave, ambient, dub and downtempo house. Mixed carefully with a keen eye for detail, each track tells a story and has its own atmosphere and mood. The accessible ‘Oblekta’ with its happy vibe, is the main track of the EP. The other tracks require several listening sessions to discover their many layers and underlying beauty. Although most instruments used are electronic in nature, many tracks are spiced with (bass)guitar, both played and sampled. 'Embracing the ten thousand things' is inspired by electronic and indie music from the 1960s till today, and is as such an authentic piece for connoisseurs.
